Benson Bridge at Multnomah Falls, circa '98
Title - Benson Bridge at Multnomah Falls, circa '98
Medium - watercolor, acrylic and gouache on clayboard
Size - 12 x 16 inches
The photo that inspired this painting was taken by my father with his film camera in 1998 while we were on vacation through the Pacific Northwest. An iconic landmark in Oregon - the Benson Bridge at Multnomah Falls. It was one of the more memorable landmarks we saw on that trip.
Drawing from personal experiences and collective memories, I aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia and contemplation in my artwork. Through layers of transparent watercolor, opaque acrylic/gouache, and subtle scratching applied to the clayboard, I seek to transport viewers to a dreamscape where the boundaries between memory and reality blur.
Comes in a natural wood frame ready to hang or as tabletop display. Signed in bottom corner.
