This is from an ongoing series of nudes in which I explore the depth of the human mind through painting the physical body. With an emphasis on color and light, I place the subjects in an ambiguous reality - drawing the viewer in with interesting poses and utilizing negative space to further explore that which is intangible. The connection between mind - body - soul is endlessly fascinating to me. I am always striving to push the subject in different ways, through new techniques and different color combinations.
