Collection: Wildlife Paintings

Set against open white ground, these wildlife paintings focus on presence rather than place. Stripped of landscape context, each animal stands in quiet isolation, defined by gesture, weight, and movement.

The subjects I return to most often are drawn from personal experience and observation — wildlife encountered in the regions I live in and travel through. Rather than constructing narrative scenes, these works distill those encounters into form and brushwork, allowing the energy of the animal to remain central.
